In memory of Dr. Andy Tasker, GLOBE Director

Dr. Andy Tasker, 16 March 1951 - 16 January 2012

GLOBE Alumni,

It is with a heavy heart that the GLOBE Community wanted to share with us the loss of GLOBE Program Director, Dr. Andy Tasker. Dr. Andy Tasker passed away peacefully on 16th January after a brief illness. Dr. Tasker cared deeply for GLOBE and he brought some new new ideas to it. The primary goal for the whole GLOBE Community is to ensure his vision for the Program is carried out.

Please keep Dr. Andy Tasker and his family in your prayers!

He Gave a lot to GLOBE community from wich many children around the world belong!
From HIS strategy and advises, many people as me learned why it's necessary and How to protect evironment us; So it's very Painful to realise that DR ANDY TASKER is not between us anymore!
MAY HE REST IN PEACE NEAR THE ALMIGHTY GOD

Thank you very much for passing along the information, though sad. I am sure he is at peace now as I know it has been difficult the last few months. Will be thinking of his family and close friends and hopefully assist in carrying out a successful GLOBE legacy as he would have wanted it.

Hi everybody. This is really a very sad new...
God has given, God took over. May the soul of Dr. Andy Task rest in
peace for eternity...
One thing that is certain: with his new ideas at the head of GLOBE, he
accompanied and reinforced the restructuration of the GLOBE Program
and promoted the empowerment of regions (consortium). He will then
live forever in the hearts and minds of the GLOBE Alumni. His name
will be immortalized by the projects that my country will launch soon.
May he know the joy of having a fulfilling life on earth .... AMEN

Dear all,

Thank Shelia to passing this new to me. So sad to hear about this. I just met him last year. He is very nice guy, very friendly and kindness. I believe so many ideas from him still alive and will be expanded to ours GLOBE community as well. May he Rest Peacefully in God.
